Collection: Sublimation Transfers

This is one sublimation transfer.

It is my art (either designed by My Vinyl Cut or purchased with a commercial license) printed on a sublimation paper using a Sawgrass 400 printer with Sublijet Sublimation inks and TexPrint-R paper.

You need a heat press to press this onto your own shirt.

The shirt needs to be white or light in color. The darker the color, the more faded/vintage the image will be.

It also needs to be a high polyester fiber count. 100% works best and the lower the poly count, the more faded/vintage the image will be. I wouldn't go down past 65%.

Sublimation ink only adheres to polyester fibers that is why your shirt needs a high poly fiber count. The inks are also translucent so that is why the shirt needs to be white or light in color.

This transfer needs to be pressed on a shirt at 400 degrees for 60 seconds. A wide variance between presses and shirts exists. I would test your press before pressing a paid transfer for the first time. There is a large learning curve to sublimation.

Your pressure should be light, you may need to lower your temp on certain shirts/colors and you may need to lower your dwell time. It is best to find your perfect settings before using this transfer so you don't waste it. You can request a tester by just contacting me. It will be a little scrap you can test on a scrap piece of fabric.

You also need blowout paper. Butcher paper is the most used in the industry. You can get a roll from Sam's Wholesale Club online. You can use parchment paper if you do not have any butcher paper. You need to use this one time then throw it away. Do not reuse it. Even if it looks like no ink is on it because there always is even if you cannot see it. The ink can transfer to your platen or your next shirt. Use a sheet inside your shirt to prevent ink migration to the other side of your shirt and on top of your design to prevent ink migrating to your platen.

Do not use teflon.
